Let's Begin

A Writer friend of mine did an amazing thing this year #WriteFree365. He wrote a poem every day of the year (he's on 335.. check out his Blog here writtenvoyeurism.com) In this my 31st year I plan to copy him. I was going to start on the 22nd of Nov (my birthday) but I was otherwise engaged. I will start Dec 1st.... wish me luck and blessings. I think it will be a great experience.

Objective: Listen to a song (or songs), free write a poem, title the poem, post it. DAILY

A few things that I've noticed about Super Bowl 48

1. Most of the people go to the Superbowl are international. ( considering the price of the Superbowl this make sense only people who have the means to travel pay for a hotel and the cost of the game would be able to enjoy the experience. Unless you been saving up for the Super Bowl have free passes or are extremely wealthy would you be able to attend this event. 2. Seahawks fans are very annoying. While I'm excited that they made it to the Superbowl and I kind of want them to win its hard for me to root for them because they are extremely annoying. The only reason I feel uneasy about rooting for the Broncos, is because of what they did to my Patriots. At the end of the day I just hope it's a really good game. 3. Today, February 1, marks the start of Black History Month we can use this as an opportunity to recognize, highlight and celebrate African/African American achievements and contributions to society In 1926, historian Carter G. Woodson developed an annual week-long celebration in February as a way to commemorate Abraham Lincoln’s birthday and Frederick Douglass’ birthday.
